Ingredients for Chicken Fajita Sandwich Recipe

  • Bread slices = 4 big size
  • Boneless chicken = 200 grams (cut the chicken into thin and small strips and wash them)
  • Onion = 1 cut into medium size thin slices
  • Green capsicum = 1 cut into medium sized thin slices
  • Yellow Capsicum = cut into thin slices of medium size
  • Red capsicum = cut into thin slices of medium size
  • Orange capsicum = cut into medium sized thin slices
  • Garlic powder = tsp
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • jeera powder = 1 tsp
  • paprika powder = 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder = 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder = tsp
  • salt = as per taste
  • Oregano = tsp
  • soy sauce = 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar = 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Sauce = 1 tbsp
  • Tomato Ketchup = 4 tbsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese = cup grated
  • Cheddar cheese = cup grated
  • Oil = 1.5 tbsp
  • Soft butter = little for baking the sandwich

Method – How to make Chicken Fajita Sandwich

To make Chicken Fajita Sandwich, first cook the chicken. Put oil in a pan and keep it for heating. Then put the chicken strips in the oil and fry them on medium flame for 5 minutes while stirring them continuously.

Due to which the color of the chicken changes and it gets cooked too. After that slow down the gas. Then add salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, paprika powder, coriander powder, garlic powder, black pepper powder, oregano, vinegar and soy sauce to the chicken and mix all these things and cook on medium flame for a minute. .

Now add onion, green capsicum, red capsicum, yellow capsicum and orange capsicum and fry them for one to two minutes on high flame. Then add red chilli sauce and tomato ketchup to it and cook for about a minute while mixing. Due to which whatever water is there in the chicken will become dry.

Then turn off the gas and take out the fajita stuffing in a plate and let it cool down a bit. After that, put grated mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese in a bowl and mix them together.

Now take two bread slices and spread the chicken fajita stuffing on both the slices. After that put the mixed mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the stuffing on both the slices.

Then place the remaining two bread slices on both the bread slices with stuffing and press them by hand. Now put a grill pan on medium flame to heat it on the gas. When the grill pan is hot, use a brush to spread the butter all over the grill pan.

Now put both the sandwiches on the grill pan and let it cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. After that, apply butter on both the sandwiches with a brush on the upper side and press the sandwich lightly with a spatula.

After 2 minutes, change the sides of both the sandwiches and press lightly with the spatula and let it cook for 2 minutes from this side. So that both the sides get golden color on the sandwich. Then switch off the gas.

Then take out the sandwich in a plate and cut it into a triangle shape with a knife. Your Chicken Fajita Sandwich or Cheesy Chicken Sandwich is ready. Then serve them to eat.
